Preparation
Season the steak bites with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, ensuring they are well-coated for maximum flavor.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak bites and cook until browned and cooked to your desired doneness, about 3-5 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, cook the pasta shells according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
Cooking
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Be careful not to burn the garlic!
Reduce the heat to low and add the cream cheese and shredded cheese to the skillet. Stir until melted and creamy, creating a luscious cheese sauce.
Return the cooked pasta shells and steak bites to the skillet, tossing everything together until well coated in the cheese sauce.
Serving
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm. Enjoy your hearty, flavorful meal!
Ingredient Substitutions: For a lighter version, you can use chicken or shrimp instead of steak. You can also replace cream cheese with Greek yogurt for a tangy twist. Optional Variations: Add some heat with diced jalapeños or throw in some fresh spinach for a pop of color and added nutrition. Storage or Reheating Tips: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop over low heat, adding a splash of milk or broth to loosen the sauce.
