Ingredients

For the crust
  • 1 package chocolate chip cookie dough Store-bought or homemade
For the cheesecake filling
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened Make sure to soften to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Press the chocolate chip cookie dough into the bottom of a greased baking dish to form a crust.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cookie crust and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheesecake is set.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Allow to cool, then cut into bars and serve.
