Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked shredded or diced chicken
  • 1 cup mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2-3 tbsp garlic butter or minced garlic
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise or cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp parsley or Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 4 large tortillas
Optional Ingredients
  • chili flakes For those who like a little heat.
  • onions For added flavor.
  • bell peppers For added flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, garlic butter or minced garlic, mayonnaise or cream cheese, parsley (or Italian seasoning), salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Lay out the large tortillas on a flat surface and evenly spread the chicken mixture over each tortilla.
  3. Roll each tortilla tightly from one end to the other, forming a wrap.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly toast the wraps, seam side down, until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  2. Slice each wrap in half and serve immediately, perhaps with some extra chili flakes for those who like a little heat!

Notes

Ingredient substitutions: Use shredded rotisserie chicken or leftover turkey for a quick meal. Greek yogurt can replace mayonnaise for a healthier twist. Optional variations: Add sautéed bell peppers, spinach, or onions to the chicken mixture for added flavor. For a zesty kick, mix in some hot sauce or diced jalapeños. Storage: Store any leftover wraps in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, place in a toaster oven or skillet to maintain crispness.
