Ingredients

For the Crab Filling
  • 1 pkg Cream Cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cans Lump or white meat crab, drained You can also use fresh crab.
  • 1 cup Imitation crab, flaked
  • 5 Green onions, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
For Coating and Frying
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Eggs, beaten

Method

Preparation
  1. Heat up your deep fryer or large pot filled with vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, lump crab, imitation crab, and green onions. Sprinkle in salt to taste.
  3. Roll small amounts of the mixture into balls and coat each ball in panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each crab ball in the beaten eggs, then roll them in panko breadcrumbs again.
Cooking
  1. Carefully place the bombs in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  2. Scoop them out and let them drain on paper towels before serving warm.
