8ozcream cheese, softenedAt room temperature

Preparation
Crush the Oreo cookies and mix with the melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan to create the crust.
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
Fold in the whipped topping and lemon juice until everything is well combined. Add the lemon zest.
Spread the lemon mixture over the crust in the pan.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Serve chilled, cut into squares or scoop into bowls. Garnish with fresh lemon slices or additional whipped topping if desired. Cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
