Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough ready-to-bake convenience for fast assembly.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or 4 mozzarella sticks (halved) melty, stretchy cheese delivers classic pizza flavor.
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices adds savory, slightly spicy flavor and protein.
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning (optional) boosts aroma and layers in Italian herb notes.
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional) adds a salty, nutty finish and crisp top.
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional) enhances flavor with tangy tomato richness and makes them feel like mini pizzas.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles along the pre-cut seams.
  3. On the wide end of each triangle, place 3–4 slices of pepperoni and a piece of mozzarella (or a small handful of shredded mozzarella).
  4. Roll the dough tightly from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the filling. Pinch the tip to seal if needed.
  5. Arrange the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each roll.
  6. If using, sprinkle Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Tips: Seal the edges well to prevent cheese from leaking. Use cold dough for easier handling. Don't overfill to avoid bursting. Serve warm with a good marinara for the best experience.
