  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs, beaten Use a hand mixer for fluffier pudding.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually whisk in milk and cook over medium heat until thickened.
  2. Once thick, remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Slowly add beaten eggs while continuously stirring.
Layering
  1. Layer the vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, and pudding mixture in a serving dish. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with pudding.
Topping and Chilling
  1. Top with whipped cream and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes
