Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk Can use low-fat or non-dairy alternative
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute or until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  2. Add 8 oz of pasta and 2 cups of milk to the pot. Increase the heat to bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low.
  3. Simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring frequently, until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.
  4. Stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, mixing well to create a creamy texture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.
