  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries

  • Sprinkles optional for decoration

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, add Rice Chex cereal and set aside.

  3. Pour the chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex cereal and gently stir to coat the cereal evenly.
  4. In a large plastic bag or another bowl, combine powdered sugar and freeze-dried strawberries (add the cake mix if you’re using it).
  5. Add the chocolate-coated cereal to the bag, seal it tightly, and shake until fully coated with the powdered sugar mixture.
  6. Spread the mixture out on a baking sheet to cool completely.
  7. Once cooled, sprinkle on some sprinkles if desired, and serve in a bowl or fill small bags for a festive treat.

Notes

Ingredient Substitutions: For a healthier option, use dark chocolate or almond butter instead of white chocolate and peanut butter. Optional Variations: Add a dash of salt or crushed nuts for added flavor and crunch. You can substitute freeze-dried strawberries with other fruits like raspberries or blueberries. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. For a firmer texture, keep it in the fridge.
