  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup dill pickle chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter for spreading on hoagie rolls

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the hoagie rolls in half lengthwise, keeping them attached at one side.
  3. Spread butter on the inside of each hoagie roll.
  4. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and toast them in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes or until they are lightly golden and warm.

  2. Place the cooked chicken tenders inside the toasted hoagie rolls.
  3. Top the chicken with 2 slices of bacon and a generous amount of shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
  4. Return the sandwiches to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

Notes

Ingredient Substitutions: If you don’t have hoagie rolls, any soft sandwich bread can work as an alternative. Also, feel free to swap out the cheddar for your favorite cheese, such as Monterey Jack or pepper jack for a bit of heat. Optional Variations: For added flavor, try adding sliced jalapeños or a sprinkle of cayenne pepper to the chicken while grilling. You can also experiment with different sauces such as BBQ or blue cheese dressing. Storage Tips: These sandwiches are best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven to maintain a crispy texture.
