  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, melt the butter in the oven as it preheats.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, flour, milk, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt until well-mixed and smooth.
  4. Once the butter is melted, remove the baking dish from the oven and pour the batter over the melted butter.
  5. Slice the ripe bananas and arrange them neatly on top of the batter.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cobbler is golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
  7. Serve warm for the best taste and texture!
